IT'S OVAH!!

Semester One, I conquered you. All glory to You, Jesus!

...Now what? :)

I'm really excited to dive into the books I recently purchased. Awesome stuff!

In my case, I will NOT stay up late this time. I've had sleepless nights for the past few weeks, and I'm looking forward to sleeping under my duvet when it's raining and cooling. Ah~! Pleasure.

Spending time with friends. Murni/William's, Pasar Malam, Movies, etc.
...and also my family. Due to the peak season, I don't see family as often. Should go for a picnic, maybe?

Volunteer/Intern Programme is launching this weekend (which is tomorrow!), and I'm interested. Gonna be having my holidays til March, so planning/hoping my parents will allow me to be part of this programme. I know I'm gonna be learning alot of things, and I'm gonna be prepared for next year.

If you're interested, drop by the booth in Church tomorrow! :)

WHAT'S HAPPENING TONIGHT?

BIG Campus PARTY!

You gotta be there! I'll be there...

It starts @ 7PM, Acts Church (Summit Hotel USJ)

It's gonna be a BIG celebration and an awesome, fun-filled time!
FREE entry, food and transport! Yes, we provide transport too!
Not to be missed. Satisfaction guaranteed.

So, ...coming?! :)

Woohoo~! Tonight's gonna be a good night ....!

For Memory's Sake.

I went to William's for the first time last Wednesday night, with a bunch of craaaazy fun people.

Finally had that mozarella cheese naan that Pao has been bragging and going on and on and on about. I gave it a 7/10, because I've tasted a better version of it. Once you've tasted the best, you won't want to settle for second best.

They were disappointed with my response, of course. I'm sorry, guys! I'm a tough food critic.

Therefore, their (note:)unintentional payback is THIS!

What a good first impression. Went home with an unpleasant reward.

...

Pao and I. :)

Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun! Thanks for the invite. Looking forward to more future outings.
And Ben-ji, if you're reading this. Yes, we'll invite you. :)

Need strength?

"Haven't I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don't be timid; don't be discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take."
(Joshua 1:9)

This is what the Lord says to you: "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's."
(2 chronicles 20:15)

Wow, I can't get enough of His Word. It's LIFE and it jumps out and speaks into YOUR LIFE! How awesome God is when you need Him, He's faithfully there. Encouraging you, whoever is reading this: when you're in need of anything; pick up the Bible and read. Don't worry about which part because He'll show you that part.

...

Am rising up to my call, even though my pathways are formless, dark, and without void. The thing is, that doesn't matter.

When He instructs, I obey, and go by faith and not by sight. Then He'll light up your path and direct you. To be honest, it is scary to step out and step up into the unknown. When I look back to where I was and where I am now, I'm in awe of God moving and working in my life. God said to me, "This is your year." It certainly is, and the best part is that, it has only been 5 months! I've seen/experienced/learnt so much, and STILL there's so much more.

My heart has the desire to lead and direct a team one day as CF President. However, I felt in my heart that right now is not my time, but to be Prayer Coordinator. And I was more at peace with that decision than to be the former. Whatever it is, Holy Spirit is hovering over my life; preparing me for bigger challenges and greater victories.

When I get there, I want to be able to say with confidence and courage, "I'm ready, Lord. Send me."

Here's to an awesome year ahead. 2010, here we come! :)

Greetings, fellow Earthlings!

I'm still tied to my assignments. Deadlines are nearing and I am ...here. Nice. I'm taking a 15-minute break, because I deserve it! HEH. Anyways, it's all gonna end this coming Friday! I can't wait! Freedom is around the corner. Can you smell it?

Thought about the things that I planned and want to do. They are as simple as, reading a good book under my duvet, and as busy as, volunteering for AYA. Awesome stuff!

Bought a couple of awesome books, and am excited to dive into it once my 3 MONTHS holiday starts.

1. The Heart - Desire/Waking the Dead, by John Eldredge. It's a 2-in-1 book. Exciting!

2. The Heavenly Man, by Brother Yun with Paul Hattaway. I've been waiting to read this for a long time, after hearing great reviews from it. Finally I own one! :)

Ah! This one over here - Captivating, by Stasi and John Eldredge. I can't wait to get a hold of this book. Can't seem to find it anywhere, and I'm still looking for it. High and low. Did I mention my birthday is next month? *hint hint*

You might think, why I'm pro-Eldredge. Well, no. Not yet, maybe. :p

Alright, break's over. Need to get back to 'hell' and persevere. PR1, CRR, and CCS Report, I will conquer you!

The POWER of a TRUE STORY.

AYA (Asian Youth Ambassador) Awards 2009 happened last night!

5th year running, AYA is about our future - and the people who are farsighted enough to invest in it. It is to encourage individuals to emerge and responsible institutions to persevere in their dreams of improving the quality of life for themselves and for those around them, in spite of the difficulty and obstacles they encounter.

This year is my first year attending the AYA Awards. It was inspiring to hear those true stories. It left me feeling like, "WOW, if they can do this. I can too!"

Here's sNgX Dance team! They were real entertaining.

Our two awesome MCs of the night, Dave Yeow (ACTS Campus Patoral Intern!) and Victoria Ong.

Beloved Pastor Kenneth Chin and also founder of AYA, giving a speech here.

The Partners and Sponsors. Thank you, 8TV, NST, Malaysiakini, In.Deed., KLPac, Creative Clicks, TrioMobile and others. Above all, thank You Lord! :):)

Our very own Lightbulb Production. WOOTS! :)

Here's the winner for Youth Friendly Company 2009:

AFS Antarabudaya Malaysia

Ps. Kenneth's Chin-up talk show. I love this part of the event. :)

The winner for 'Most Outstanding Youth of the Year 2009':

Yeoh Chen Chow! Congrats!! :)

Last performance of the night:

Mia Palencia, and the AYA Choir. I love her song 'Catalyst of Creed'. (If I'm not mistaken.)

...

Whee! This is the ACTS Church family! ...Well a small quarter of them were there. We had a great organising team and ever-awesome 160 volunteers who made this event run smoothly.

And, God. Yes you deserve all glory, because you made it ALL happen. Thank You! :):)

Yes. That!

Isn't it preeetttyyyy...? *yearns/desires strongly/desperate?*

Condition of current phone: ARGH! ISH! URGH! @#$!%^$#@!!
Please excuse the 'detailed' description of condition. Yea, you get the idea. ...Right?

It seems so impossible to own one. But "all things are possible". HEH! :p

It tends to feel pretty lonely at the front.
It's scary when you're on choppy waters, facing fierce waves.
Charting the way for others to take over.

But know this, God is with you.
"Never will I leave you, nor forsake you.", He said. (Joshua 1:5)

I feel like...

...I'm in this tangled web that I spun. But, it's actually not that complicating. Just take two steps back and in another glance, you see a beautiful mess.

This is silly.
I should not be feeling clouded and flustered. But I am.
I should not be beating myself up, because I didn't reach my expectations. But I am.
I am disappointed.
I am my biggest critic.

What I need to do right now, is to not be so caught up with those fluster of thought bubbles and be focusing on what is on the table. Set me free from the 'I can't' and instill the 'I can', Lord.

Anyways, it's Week Twelve. The workload is getting heavy, and many other things happening. Time management is KEY. Trying hard, I am.

I need Your direction and assurance. "Your peace that surpasses all understanding" (Phil 4:7), will get me there.

...

It rained today, making my bedroom so chilly and cool. Was so tempted to dive under my duvet and sleep, but I had to finish a part of the assignment before heading to HOMES.

*reminds self: it's Week Twelve.*

God is here to stay.

"No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Joshua 1:5)

No comment or act will stop me from doing God's Work. They may be there to discourage me, but I come out STRONGER.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

I will fear nothing. Why should I in the first place? God is all for me. :)

Man, I'm so in right now! HAHA.

"Persevere, and you will not lack anything." (James 1:4) ...AMEN to that!

Three more to go! "Thank You for the confidence and assurance that everything is in Your Hands." :)
...

It was an awesome time in ACTS yesterday. We got to read Psalm 23 in a different perspective. It opened my eyes and broadened my mind to see who God really is. He is amazingly beautiful, and I don't get why people don't accept Him. His Word is truly eye-opening, perspective-changing, and spirit-reviving! Man, I will never want to miss church services in ACTS!

Praise Report: 887 people attended ACTS and 3 salvations yesterday. 254 people at 4pm Service, by which 166 people are campus students! ACTS is GROWING! All glory to Him!!

I pray ACTS will be THE church that not only grows to thousands, but also mobilize the thousands to bring thousands more into His kingdom. God, may You use ACTS Church; help us not to limit You with our minds, and teach us to think BIGGER! Thank You. :)

...

I got to know yesterday, that some teens from Church were inspired by my testimony - to put God first before anything else, even assignments/exams. Wow, I never thought about this before, and it hit me right there and then that the teens are looking up to us, campus students. Note: To all ACTS Campus Leaders, set a good example! :)

Hey ACTS Teens, whatever I'm struggling with in life, I'm doing it for you. So that I'll have more testimonies to inspire you with. I pray that it'll inspire you to live an inspiring life. So that you'll have your own testimonies, and inspire others with it. you, Teens! :)

Our 1st Multiplied HOMES = SJ1 + SJ2

Thought: Eventhough you don't get what you want/expect, don't start blaming God. But start seeking Him to help you find the way in order to find something 'immeasurably more than all you ask for or imagine" (Ephesians 3:20) at the end of the road. You'll find a testimony, and it's going to impact and empower people who hears it.

I want powerful, God-factored testimonies. :)

...

We had our first multiplied HOMES today! It's a good thing that we're multiplying, and expecting to multiply some more in the near future.

We targeted 30 people for each HOMES. So here's the celebration point: 31 people in SJ1 and 33 people in SJ2! Despite the expectation of having 74 people tonight, nevertheless praise God for what He has done and doing.
